The Royal Castle of Collioure is the last surviving medieval castle in mainland France. It rises above an ancient Roman castrum and consists of an impressive number of superimposed and juxtaposed buildings that involved 7 centuries of work.


The castle has been listed as a historical monument since 1922. Today it is the venue for events and art exhibitions to highlight its cultural value. A must see during your camping holiday in Collioure!
